Every service, in full detail.
When you leave a dog with us, you should know exactly what their day looks like. So here is each of our four services — the hour-by-hour schedule, what makes it different from the kennel down the street, and exactly what proof you get along the way.
Reserve a meet & greetLuxury Overnight Boarding
A small house, not a kennel.
Each guest stays in a private suite — full-height oak partitions, a memory-foam cot, a window onto the back garden, and a small framed photo of your dog on the door. We sleep no more than fourteen dogs a night, which is half the licensed capacity for our square footage. You will not hear barking in our boarding wing because there is nothing to bark about: dogs are settled, walked three times, fed on their home schedule, and tucked in with the room lights dimmed by nine.
- 7:00 AM Wake, garden walk, breakfast on home schedule
- 10:30 AM Yard play with size-matched group · indoor lounge for solo dogs
- 1:30 PM Quiet nap window · soft instrumental playlist · no foot traffic
- 4:30 PM Long neighborhood walk with a 2-person handler team
- 6:30 PM Dinner · brief enrichment puzzle · evening cuddle time
- 9:00 PM Lights dimmed · last potty trip · room check-ins through the night
Two photo updates a day. A short video on day one. A handwritten note from your dog's primary handler in the welcome-home folder at pickup.
Social Daycare
Play groups designed like a dinner party.
Daycare is run by Sofia Park, our UC Davis animal-behavior grad. Every new dog gets a one-hour temperament intake before they are ever in a group. Groups are matched by size, age, energy, and play style — and capped at twelve dogs per handler. We do not run an open free-for-all. Quiet dogs get a quiet group. Bouncy dogs get a bouncy group. The result is a calm building with happy dogs that come home tired and content.
- 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM Staggered drop-off · one-on-one greeting with handler
- 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM Morning play in the back garden (weather permitting)
- 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Group lunch · enforced nap in quiet suites
- 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM Indoor enrichment · puzzles · short training games
- 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM Wind-down play · staggered pickup with verbal report
A printed report card at pickup: who they played with, what they ate, any quirks worth knowing. A photo posted to our private parents-only Instagram.
Spa Grooming
Breed-correct cuts, no rush.
James Holloway is our head groomer — NDGAA certified with a specialty in curly and double coats. He books one dog per ninety-minute window, never doubles up, and does not use heated drying cages. Every groom starts with a slow brush-out, a warm aromatherapy bath (oat-protein shampoo · lavender or eucalyptus), a blueberry facial scrub, and a hand-blow finish. The cut follows the breed standard — or your specific request — and ends with paw butter and a fresh bandana.
- 0:00 – 0:15 Greet · brush-out · gentle nail trim
- 0:15 – 0:35 Warm bath · aromatherapy shampoo · blueberry facial
- 0:35 – 1:00 Hand blow-dry · ear clean · sanitary trim
- 1:00 – 1:30 Breed-correct or custom cut · finishing scissor work
- 1:30 Paw butter · bandana · text "ready for pickup"
A before-and-after side-by-side, sent by text. A written grooming notes card to take to your next visit so the next cut is consistent.
Puppy Socialization
The most important six weeks of your dog's life.
A small, gentle introduction to the world for puppies under twelve months. We cap classes at six puppies and pair them by size. Each class includes confidence-building (novel surfaces, unfamiliar sounds, body-handling), polite-greeting practice, and free play with calm older mentor dogs from our adult guest list. Owners stay, participate, and leave with a notebook of next-week homework.
- Week 1 Novel surfaces · gentle handling · name games
- Week 2 Calm greetings · loose-leash basics · noise desensitization
- Week 3 Mentor-dog free play · recall in low distraction
- Week 4 Vet-visit prep · stay basics · cooperative care intro
- Week 5 Public-space prep · café manners · graduation
A puppy report after each class · a graduation certificate · a 10% standing discount on daycare for graduates of the program.
